Holly Blue in Dome

This holly blue butterfly is beautifully preserved inside a circular glass dome with a natural cork base, elegantly mounted on a slender acrylic rod to create a floating appearance. Found commonly in gardens and parks across the UK, this species is scientifically known as Celastrina argiolus. It is characterised by its bright, sky-blue upper wings which contrast beautifully with a pale, silver-blue underside speckled with tiny black dots.
