This Brilliant Blue butterfly is beautifully mounted in a 10x10cm frame on a plain white mount. Native to Madagascar and its surrounding islands, this eye-catching specimen is scientifically known as Junonia rhadama. It is a smaller species characterised by its radiant and metallic azure-blue wings bordered with deep black bars and white edges. Mimicking the appearance of a peacock, its hindwings feature prominent, decorative eyespots, which contrast beautifully when reflecting the light.
